Maternity sessions are typically best photographed between 28–32 weeks pregnant. This is often the perfect window where your bump is beautifully prominent while still allowing you to feel comfortable and confident during your session.

For twin pregnancies, I usually recommend scheduling a bit earlier, around 24–30 weeks

For announcment photos, they are usually done in your second trimester, around the time you're ready to share the news with the world. Usually once you've had an ultrasound or two completed.

Your session can take place almost anywhere that feels meaningful and fitting to your vision. From open fields and mountain views to downtown locations or my natural light studio, each session is thoughtfully planned to reflect your style while creating timeless and connection-focused imagery.

My cozy lifestyle studio is located in a historic building near downtown Reno. The space is light, airy, and intentionally designed to create a calm, comfortable experience for both parents and babies while keeping the focus on connection and your little one.

Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled around sunrise or sunset when the lighting is soft, warm, and most flattering for photographs. Typically this is around 2 hours before sunset or within two hours after sunrise, depending on location.

Studio sessions generally take place during natural daylight hours, with late morning and early afternoon often creating the most beautiful light within the space.

I always recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability on my calendar, especially during busy seasons.

For maternity sessions, I typically suggest reaching out at least 4–6 weeks in advance whenever possible. However, last-minute openings do occasionally become available, so I’m always happy to check availability if your session timeline is sooner.

To officially reserve your session, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required. This secures your spot on my calendar. From there we will start discussing ideas and begin planning your dream session.

The retainer will be applied toward your total session balance. It is transferrable to a different session type if a maternity session is no longer desired.

If baby decides to arrive earlier than expected and your maternity session can no longer take place, your retainer may simply be transferred toward a newborn or future session instead and the remaining session fee will not need to be paid.

The remaining balance for your session is due on the day of your session. Payment may be made through the invoice link sent via email or by cash/check in person.

Yes. I offer a curated client closet with dresses and select wardrobe pieces available for mothers and little ones to use during their session.

After booking, you’ll receive access to view the available pieces and styling options. Use of the client closet is included with your session at no additional cost, though you are always welcome to wear your own outfits as well.

Within 48 hours of your session, you will receive a proof gallery containing the best images from your session with light preliminary edits applied.

From there, you will select the number of images included in your package for final editing and delivery. Final images are fully hand-edited and delivered within approximately 21 days of your selections being submitted.

Additional images may be purchased separately if desired. Clients who complete selections within one week will maintain standard turnaround times.

Yes. Clients who book both maternity and newborn sessions together will receive a discounted maternity retainer as well as $50 off their newborn session.
