The Signature Family Collection is designed for one immediate family household (parents and their children). These sessions focus on genuine connection, movement, and the little moments that tell your family’s story, while still including a variety of beautifully posed portraits.

The Generational Family Collection is designed for extended families, including grandparents, adult children, grandchildren, and multiple households. Because these sessions involve more people, they place a greater emphasis on organized group portraits while still allowing time to capture natural interactions between family members.

Family shoots can be photographed year round, though it is recommended you book between May-October for more ideal weather conditions.

Choosing the right location is one of my favorite parts of planning your session. I have a curated list of beautiful locations throughout the Reno and Lake Tahoe area, each offering its own unique feel and scenery.

If you have a meaningful location in mind, whether it’s your family property, your home, or another special place, I’m always happy to explore new locations. Together, we’ll choose a setting that best reflects your family and the vision for your session.

Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled around sunrise or sunset when the lighting is soft, warm, and most flattering for photographs. Typically this is around 2 hours before sunset or within two hours after sunrise, depending on location.

I always recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability on my calendar, especially during busy seasons.
Ideally I prefer to book 4-6 weeks out, but feel free to reach out in case I do have availability to squeeze you in.

To officially reserve your session, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required. This secures your spot on my calendar. From there we will start discussing ideas and begin planning your dream session.

The retainer will be applied toward your total session balance. It is transferrable to a different session type if a family session is no longer desired.

The remaining balance for your session is due on the day of your session. Payment may be made through the invoice link sent via email or by cash/check in person.

Payment plans are available upon request.

Within 72 hours of your session, you will receive a proof gallery containing the best images from your session with light preliminary edits applied.

From there, you will select the number of images included in your package for final editing and delivery. Final images are fully hand-edited and delivered within approximately 21 days of your selections being submitted.

Additional images may be purchased separately if desired. Clients who complete selections within one week will maintain standard turnaround times.

Yes! I offer a limited number of seasonal mini sessions throughout the year. These sessions are announced first to my email list, with any remaining availability shared on social media. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss early access.
